Update: Winners of the 2010 Reader's Choice Awards have been announced. Find out which products emerged victorious.
Times are tough and money is tight. But that doesn't mean you have to go without a top-notch smartphone. Today, you can get an excellent phone for less than $100 -- in some cases, much less.
So, we want to hear from you, the About.com readers: Which is the best smartphone available today for less than $100?
We're accepting nominations from January 1, 2010 through January 24, 2010. Voting will take place in February, and The Reader's Choice winner will be announced March 1.
The best cheap smartphone is the one that you can't live without. The smartphone that's in your pocket, everywhere you go. The smartphone that was such a great bargain. It was so cheap that you can't stop talking about it, and you scoff at people who think you have to pay $200 or $300 to get a good phone.
Please limit nominations in this category to phones that cost less than $100 on a regular basis.

How to Nominate:
Between January 1 and January 24, 2010 use the form below to nominate your favorite product in this category. For the subject, give the name of the smartphone or app you wish to nominate. Then include a short description of why this product deserves to be nominated. 50 character minimum. Do not hesitate to nominate phones or apps that have already been nominated by others. Multiple nominations increase the chances that your choice will make it into the finalists for voting.
Don't assume that just because you don't submit one of the well-known products in this category that your choice doesn't stand a chance. Your nomination may help spread the word about a lesser-known smartphone or app.
