Downloading Ringtones (or Graphics) by Wireless Internet (WAP)
What to do once you're on the download Wireless Web site

Due to the particular nature of the wireless Internet, ringtones and graphics must be downloaded through a wireless web page. That's where you should end-up if you followed the previous step.

(This example uses the Siemens SL56 cell phone with a Windows XP computer. The procedure for other phones may vary but should be quite similar.)

Greeting:
_

This example: Once your phone reaches the download link, you should be greeted by a message similar to the one displayed here.

Other phones: Idem.

Following the final download link:
_

This example: Scroll down that page, until the download link is highlighted. Press "select".

Other phones: Other phones may use another button name such as "link" or "open". Check your owner's manual for details.

Listening to the ringtone:
_

This example: After the download is complete, the Siemens SL56 will play the ringtone you just downloaded. Proceed to the next step below for what to do next.

Other phones: Most phones will play the ringtone (or display the graphic, if you're downloading a graphic) right away, but some may ask you first or offer to save it upfront or some may even just save it without asking you anything and without offering to play it first... Whatever the case, proceed to the next step below..
