The Bottom Line
- Excellent display
- keypad folder slides in and out very easily, one of the best I've seen
- No speakerphone in such a high-end phone is absurd
- lacks many other expected features such as expandable memory, Bluetooth
- middle navigation key is only for mobile web access
Description
- Technology support: GSM/GPRS
- Not too bulky at 4.09 ounces
- VGA camera and video recorder
Guide Review - Samsung D415 Review
But it does have a nice light weight and a very good battery life. It also features infrared and will let you add ringtones and graphics for free, in a do-it-yourself way. The high color display, with 262,144, was just great. The fact that it's a multimedia phone with video and a camera, but doesn't have expandable memory is also annoying. All-in-all, the Samsung D415 is an Ok phone but its shortcomings, especially the lack of a speakerphone, makes it just half of what it should be. Sound quality and overall experience was good but I'm not overwhelmingly impressed.
