Guide Review - Samsung SPH-I300 Review

Last time I reviewed a Palmtop computer, I felt disappointed about Palmtop phones because of the bulkiness but the Samsung I300 changed my mind. This is a great product, a lovely phone. Of course, it's bigger than most phones, so it can sport the large touch screen common to all Palm OS based phones. But this one has a passive matrix color display so after installing a free web browser, you can seamlessly browse the real Internet almost like on any computer, except some graphics are sometimes shrunken to fit the display.

Since it is Palm OS based, the I300 features all the nice functions of Palm and Visor handheld computers (for more, see our Palmtops guide). One very nice feature allows you to turn off the cell phone while keeping the Palmtop on or on standby mode. This should help increase battery duration. The I300 comes with two batteries and a nice protective case. It even includes a decent speakerphone and voice note capability. Available at Sprint PCS.
