Guide Review - Sony Ericsson s710a Review
As with all recent Sony Ericsson phones, the software wasn't the best part of the s710a. It was slow to react and not super-efficient. Sony Ericsson insists on not having clear red and green buttons and it still makes things uselessly more complicated. They now display a message to instruct users that holding the back key returns them to the main menu but there are still some system messages that require you to press a specific key to get rid of it -- an annoyance that is not welcome when in a hurry or on the road. But the mix of features offered by the s710a compensate: included 32 MB in memory stick upgradable to 128 lets you hold hours of MP3 music. There is even a polyphonic ringtone composer and it supports all email protocols. There is also a good speakerphone and sound quality was good.
