Is your BlackBerry's home screen cluttered? Are your icons disorganized and hard to find? It's easy to reorganize the icons on your BlackBerry's home screen, and it will only take a few minutes, but will help you use your device more efficiently.
Not only can you reorganize your BlackBerry icons, but you can also sort them into folders. If you have a lot of items on your home screen that you do not use often, consider moving them to the bottom of the home screen, or creating folders and sorting similar applications together.
Follow these steps to rearrange the icons on your home screen.
- Scroll to the icon you want to move.
- Click the Menu button, and then choose Move or Move to Folder. If you are using BlackBerry 6 on the Torch, when you touch and hold an icon, a menu appears. You can choose Move or Move to Folder from that menu to move that icon.
- If you choose Move the icon will be highlighted and surrounded with directional arrows. Move the icon to the location you desire, and click the icon to place it in that location.
- If you choose Move to Folder, choose the folder that you want to move the icon to, and the icon will appear in that folder.
