SamsungSCHi220Code
- For the initial price (after rebates) & what it costs to operate ~the metroPCS Samsung Code is by far the best bang 4 the buck. It is somewhat basic but not the slightest bit primitive.. I use it about 12 hrs a day & after 6 mos. I am still finding new aspects of its' personality every day.. Great 1st smartphone..

bbm 9700
- i have owned the n 95 8gb for two years prior to owning my blackberry. It was a very robust phone with many features one of my favorite being the camera. however at the end of the day the userinterface wasnt as good as what others where offerinf and me using an unlocked pone on a local service provider meant i couldnt use the phone to its full capabilities. Its gps also took very long to get satelite connection. The bbm 9700 for tmobile is an amazing phone it combines many great features into an ewasy to use package. the phone is designed lovely and it works great. the only downside to the 9700 is the internet browser, which falls behind the others that are leading the market. I prefer using a qwerty over a touchscreen and even though i was worried about the small size it is very much usable and actually the same size as the curve.

designer
- HTC Hero Because it is more open and more customizable than the iphone. Ex.: you can access all files on your computer simply by the USB cable. Try that on an iphone!

Motorola Droid
- In my opinion, the Motorola Droid is the winner in the 'Best Smartphone' category. The amazing screen, the android OS, the wide variety of applications, and really just the overall user experience are unmatched by any of the other smartphones currently on the market. The fact that it's included on what many consider the best network is just an added benefit.

Nokia N97
- With Kinetic Scrolling and better memory management, this flagship device from Nokia is now perhaps the smartphone that it should have been at its launch. With Symbian Apps being developed on a daily basis and the new Music Store from Nokia, the additional benefits of this device are increasing by the day.
