Good phone service LOUSY customer servic

Straight Talk is a DEAL! $45 a month for unlimited talk and text over Verizon's expansive network? What could be better? How about Customer Service Reps that speak English as a first language, and hold times of less than an hour or so? This is Tracfone using Verizon's CDMA network, and while neither are bad of themselves, the customer service can be pretty bad. It's not the CSR's faults; they are VERY nice and try hard to get what you need. I have never had a rude encounter with anyone at Tracfone. If you get the service, get on the service and never have a problem you have it made.

tracfone theft

I used Tracfone for years but recently this company decided to drop my little town from its service area...no notice, no refunds...I had just bought some minutes and was told I would have to lose them. Thats called theft isnt it? Tracfone is garbage.

Virgin Mobile ROCKS

I am not a huge mobile phone user to the extent that some of you probably are. I didn't have one until I became a father and wanted it for emergency purposes. People have started to call me somewhat unnecessarily, but even so, I still only pay $20 per month on an 18 cent per minute plan where I have to top up ($20) every three months (minimum). I rarely text and don't use web or special features, and I am happy with what I have. If you were to join now, I believe the lowest you can get is 20 cents per min. Their other prepaid plans are attractive too, and I am thinking about upgrading phones and service (maybe). Coverage for me has been good, but I'd guess it might not be 100% for big travelers. Call quality is decent to good. They have some pretty sweet phones too (better than what's available on other carriers' prepaid service). Bottom line: I HIGHLY recommend Virgin Mobile prepaid to the cost-conscious who don't need every single bell & whistle.

Not satisfied with Straight Talk

If you need to call tech support it is located in the Phillipines & they barely know how to speak English! Didn't know what they were doing! They passed the buck from one person to another. Cancelled phone service with them! Wouldn't recommend them!!!

A safe Mrs Fox, is happy Mr Fox

Yes, we made the switch! After close to half a centuries worth of running ourselves dizzy getting to the ringing landline, only to be late (again). We decided to go mobile. If only to have a phone in the car. You know, for when you inevitably break down...or so we initially thought. We spent a fair amount of time looking around. This contract, that carrier. This pro, that con, and eventually decided on a Tracfone. Simple, cheap, easy to use, easy to recharge, and above all easy not to get into trouble with the bank (Mrs Fox) - cause as far as she is concerned...and the bookclub...the minutes are cheap. And so the great day of our leap into technology arrived, and we promptly introduced the phone to the glove compartment. And there it stayed for about a week without getting used. Until the day I forgot the grocery list, and phoned home. Soon this marvel of convenience assisted Mrs Fox in phoning me with whatever she had forgotten on the list...good thing this prepaid tracfone business

Alternative GPS Locator

The best selling software on BlackBerry to locate people is Alisha WheresEveryone. Which has enterprise integration features also apart from consumer facing social features. http://www.mobihand.com/102//product.asp?id=70134

Straight Talk for the whole family

We all went to Straight Talk. NO Contracts! No hidden charges or fees! Several of us got the $45 unlimited. Phone all you want anytime. I surf the web, news, emails. I text all I want. I travel all over the state and never have problems with reception unlike old Sprint service. Grandmother has the $30, and thats all she needs. Only problem is Do Not let your service run out, had some trouble getting same phone number back.

T-Mobile (:

Basically, I used to be with virgin mobile - worst experience of my life. Their servers were ALWAYS down. horribleee. my friends had thee tmobile prepaid plan, they whipped their sidekick LXs out and told me about the "dollar a day plan" (completely affordable) especially for me (-; average monthly for virgmobile: $40. average monthly for tmobile: $25. (unlimited data/IM/text/etc.) simplyy the best choice for me. don't know about you. (; Guest DLA

I love straiqht talk service. The unlimited for $45 every 30 days, but wish they had better phones. I have the LG Touch and it's good, yet I wish they had a blackberry. But it doesn't work at my hometown, so I invested one in AT&T. I carry two phones both unlimited for the price of one line for any other phone company. I never lose service anywhere. (=

Tracfone everyday.

Tracfone has been the best thing in my life. For starters the signal and reception is impeccably good. Tracfone is prepaid so I am completely in controle with no contracts or bills to worry about, but they also have plan flexibility. There is the monthly plans like the individual or family plan which are fantastic value, or there is easy minutes which can be bought any where anytime ;). I like that the individual plan gives me 50 minutes at only $10. Great saving in every respect. Tracfone also offers international calls at local rates, unbeatable.

cricket blows

cricket is evil. the regular cricket service sucks and is ripe with 10.00 late fees, and they still count your time from your start date whether you pay or not, so if you're a week late behind on your payment, you get charged 10.00 more, your regular 45.00 monthly, and now you only get the remaining three weeks use. plus, their coverage sucks, their phones suck, unless you like yelling. i don't know if their pay as you go is any better, but i would be leary.

STRAIGHT TALK IS GREAT PLAN

I was with Tmobile for 3 years and the service sucked and there were always hidden fees. I switched to Straight Talk 2 months ago and I love it! The reception is better than Tmobile (I live in Houston) and much cheaper. I get a signal everywhere! I got the unlimited plan for $45/month and was able to transfer my number within hours. Straight Talk is my wallet's best friend!

Tracfone

Great plans but if you want to change anything you have to have a lot of luck to get it to come out right. A communication company that can't communicate well - perhaps because they outsource their service people - hint.

FUZION MOBILE!

Fuzion Mobile is the BEST prepaid cell service ever! I couldnt believe that i found a service that had all the good aspects of a prepaid phone and MORE!
