American Downfall
- Texting is great, fast, and easy... but do you see how many people are starting to lack good communication skills? I love texting, but I do not do it often because I want to be able to actually do a job interview later on in life with good grammar, verbal communication, and eye contact. Texting is a distraction and wastes so much time.

- talking takes too much work and requires too much commitment. texting is better, but even now is demanding too much effort. if i could text without moving my thumbs, it would be better. also, I wish life could text, cause i'd love to cut down on those confrontations. also, the cheetos bag is too far away.

- OMG, I LOVE texting, I cannot live without it! It's like, email, but shorter, and faster! I don't like to talk on the phone, because there are awkward silences and stuff. TEXTING ROCKS!

Texting
- I use text messages for pedagogical purposes, to keep in touch with colleagues, current and former students, friends, neighbors, family members, and anyone who is not dependent on voice communication. I detest talking on the phone. It is such a waste of time and energy. Texting is real communication.

Texting is cool, but...
- Texting is cool, and needs to be in use for everybody. But it diminishes real life communication in class rooms, and education in young people.

ALL THE TIME
- i never really talk on my phone. if i do its only to my mom for 2-5 minutes. I text every single minute of the day. My aunt has even caught me texting in my sleep. all my friends have textin and we are always texting. I can do everything and text at the same time. TEXTIN IS THE NEW WAY TO TALK!!!

SMS very user
- I use very often the SMS message. In a day sent some 300 messages. A very fast way of communication.

use it daily
- I use it on a daily basis. I don't send as much as I did a couple years ago, but I still send a few hundred a month. If I need to know something now, I'll call since there's no guarantee your text will be delivered and whether the person will respond.

too dependent on texting
- Admittedly, my friends and I have become too dependent on text messaging simply because it's more convenient than to have to pick up the phone and have long conversations. In reality, texting should be limited to times when in loud places or when a quick response is needed. Other than that, one should pick up the phone and have some real dialogue with their friends or even better, face-to-face conversations :)
